The match between Denmark and Finland at the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament has restarted.

This comes after it was halted due to Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen collapsing during the match to the surprise of fans at the stadium and many people watching from around the world.

The player went down without any push from any opposing member and how he laid down ‘lifeless’ was really hard to watch and his teammates surrounded him.

UEFA released a statement to that affect and as we speak, the match as commenced once again as the players of both sides are on the field.

In another post by renowned sport journalist, Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder who is currently in the hospital actually had a video call with his teammates and asked them to continue the match.

The tweet from Romano reads;

“Christian Eriksen had a Facetime call with his teammates from the hospital and asked them to play the game tonight, as “he feels better now”, @sportstudio just reported.”
