Angel Smith, a reality TV star, is reflecting on her life after the show, saying that she appreciates having her own home despite the expenditures she must pay.
Paying bills, she admits, can be a pain, but she is grateful to God for her own space and the opportunity to return home to an empty house.
Taking to her Instagram stories, she wrote;
I saw a tweet about how more African girls need to experience living alone before getting married and I wished I could like more than once. I’ve found comfort in paying rent, water and light bills, doing groceries, dancing alone in my room, going back home tipsy, staying out late, working and going back to any empty house, buying little nothings for my house because they’re cute. Everyday I thank God I get to come back to an empty house.
“And yeah the bills can be so annoying but nothing beats having your own space and having autonomy over everything. 10/10 and I am manifesting that for every African woman; we deserve a life that is soft, warm and comforting.” she added.
And honestly I don’t think anything beats coming home to a quiet empty house that smells like your favorite scented candles.
Again, she has asserted that what a woman chooses to do with her body is solely dependent on her personal decision and never of a man’s opinion.
This comes following the reality star and popular brand influencer newly installed teeth braces and a newly inked tattoo which she attributed its meaning to that of feminine power.
In a series of tweet, Angel Smith noted that it is forbidden for a man to have an opinion on whatever a woman decides to do on and with her body, including abortions, family-planning, etc.
In her words, “As a man; you shouldn’t have an opinion on what women do with their bodies. Not iuds, abortion, plastic surgery, choice of clothes etc, nothing Hopefully women are given more autonomy over their bodies and more women find the courage to fight for their autonomy; especially African women.”
