Ghanaian actress, Matilda Asare has indicated that there is nothing to be fixed in the country.

The renowned actress made this known in a recent submission she made on the popular entertainment show, United Showbiz hosted by actress, Nana Ama McBrown.

According to her, everything in Ghana is working so she doesn’t see what people who are asking the government to fix the country are calling for.

In her submission, she said;

“There is nothing to fix in the country because everything is working. The system is working because there is no war or anything in Ghana. Nurses and all government workers are not on strike so those calling for the country to fixed should come again. They really need to be specific with what they want and stop generalizing it.”

Buttressing her point, she indicated that the load-shedding is not like how it used to be during the Mahama administration.

She also stated that times are hard and it is not only Ghana that is suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic so they have to consider that aspect too.

Matilda Asare, despite being an actress and producer mounted the stage to campaign for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2020 elections.

The comments she made sought to hail the government while rubbishing the claims that nothing is working in Ghana and things need to be fixed.

After making her comments, she was quick to add that she is responsible for her comments and that how she sees things is how she is saying it.
