Ghanaian actress and social commentator Ms. Lydia Forson has revealed that everything that Ghanaians are doing right now was learned from the ruling New Patriotic Party’s playbook.
According to Lydia Forson, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was in opposition was the most vocal opposition party she has witnessed since time memorial and they were so good at using the various social media platforms to express their displeasure to the then ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) which was led by John Dramani Mahama.

She said Ghanaians adopted the attitude of been vocal and using social media as a ‘weapon’ to fight against bad governance and leadership from the party style of approach when they were in opposition.
She added that she’s very much surprise and somehow funny to her to realized the same party who used social media as a weapon when in opposition is now not been appreciative with the same method being used against them now that they are the ruling party.
Everything we’re doing now we learned from the NPP’s play book. They were probably the most vocal opposition(that I’d witnessed) and they utilized social media in expressing their displeasure daily. It’s funny seeing them not appreciate it being used on them.
