Ghanaian counselor, Frank Adofoli has advised social media users not to fall in love with people who disrespect them.
According to him, it is beautiful to be in love, to feel important in someone’s life, but falling in love with someone who disrespects you makes you feel unimportant to them.
He made this known in a recent post he made on his official social media handle on the popular platform, Facebook.
The post he made reads;
“It is beautiful to be in love, to feel important in someone’s life, but falling in love with someone who disrespects you makes you feel unimportant to them. Love is not only about romance and sweet words, it is about valuing someone more than yourself, its about respecting them.
The way sweetness never goes out of honey and stars never leave the sky, is the same way you can’t have true love and run out of respect. It is a big lie for someone to claim they love you and yet disrespect you. Falling in love with someone who doesn’t respect you is the worst illness that can ever visit you.”
