World football governing body, FIFA has commenced an investigation into the game between Ghana Vs South Africa.

The World Cup Qualifier match played on October 14 at the Cape Coast Stadium in Ghana saw Ghana win the match by a goal to nil.

The goal was scored by Ghana’s captain, Andre Dede Ayew, however, the circumstances surrounding the goal are being investigated.

The goal was a penalty goal and according to South Africans, there should not have been a penalty in the first place.

They feel cheated and after the game, the South African FA made a complaint to FIFA asking the football governing body to review the penalty decision.

The latest development from the situation is that FIFA has acknowledged the complaints by the South African FA and according to FIFA, they will have the penalty incident be reviewed.
