News anchor with Metro TV, Bridget Otoo has pressed the panic button by saying Ghana has no chance against the in-form Nigeria after the two neighbouring countries were paired against each other in the 2022 World Cup playoffs.
In a post she shared on Twitter dangling on a lighter rope, the former TV3 employee asked if there’s a way Ghana could protest to FIFA and have their opponet, herein Nigeria changed becasue there’s no way t hey could surmount this hurdle.
She tweeted;
How much will @FIFAcom pay us if we decide not to play Nigeria ? We would take that and save a lot of money.
In a previous post, the seasoned broadcaster and staunch member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bridget Otoo shared a funny perspective as regards the pairing of Ghana and Nigeria in the 2022 World Cup playoffs.
The Metro TV news anchor while sprinkling dust of humour to the report after the full fixtures of the World Cup was unveiled on Saturday, said Shatta Wale is blamable for Ghana’s tough opponent after his volatile feud with his former bestie cum antagonist, Burna Boy from Nigeria monopolized social media weeks ago.
She therefore asked the self-proclaimed Dancehall King to as a matter of urgency, apologise to Burna Boy and the people of Nigeria to coax FIFA is giving Ghana a different opponent.
She took to Twitter to write;
President @shattawalegh please apologize make dem change our opponent. We no fit beat Nigeria for World Cup playoffs … FIFA saw your fight with Burna and took it serious. We have suffered from #AFCON2021 don’t let them punish us. I dey wedge!
