Just recently, the Nigerian social media was buzzing over the exchange between media personality, Toke Makinwa and filmmaker, Yomi Black.
It all started when Yomi Black shared someone’s post that dared to question the self-acclaimed baby girl and how she is able to afford her luxurious lifestyle.
Toke had reacted to American rapper, Cardi B’s visit to the country and how Nigerians are hypocrites for hailing her. The post Yomi shared described Toke’s post as being the most hypocritical of the year and also dared her to reveal her source of income.
To that, Toke shared a DM from Yomi that she got in 2017 of how he revealed his appreciation for her. The media personality proceeded to calling him an ungrateful fool.
Toke recounted all the times she had helped Yomi with his career despite him not having the money to pay back. She then proceeded to asking who he has ever helped in his life.
Well, the brouhaha has caught the attention of Yomi’s beautiful wife, Liz Black, and she has reacted to the issue. According to her, no one should be anybody’s role model because we all have crosses to bear even though it is different from teachings that are not backed up by life principles.

In other related news, Yomi Black has reacted to Toke’s call out on his Instagram page. He acknowledged that he and the media girl go way back and reminded her that she has not yet revealed her source of income to the public.
