We are not trying to stoke the furnace of the infamous scuffle and brandishing of gun on stage between Stonebwoy & Shatta Wale at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

What promised to be an unforgettable night full of bliss, excitement and fun galore turned into a nightmare after Stonebwoy pulled a gun moments after winning the Dancehall Artiste of the Year award and had Shatta Wale following him on stage for reasons best known to him.

Few hours before the program, Shatta Wale said something interesting and it came to pass. See below for the full report;

Shatta Wale has warned Charterhouse, organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards that he’s ready to walk the same path he did in 2013 when he lost out on the ‘Reggae Dance Hall Song of the Year’ award to Kaakie.

Shatta Wale went berserk that year and rained insults on the organizers, accusing of robbery and vowed never be part of the award scheme again.

That was the genesis of the war the SM boss started with Chartehouse which dragged on for years until recently when they smoked the peace pipe.

However, ahead of the award ceremony this evening at the Accra International Conference Centre, Shatta Wale has warned the organizers, albeit jovially that what he did in 2013 when he lost the award to Kaakie could repeat itself this year if things don’t go the way he expects.

He wrote;

“People should always remember 2013 can repeat itself in 2019 but this time the iOS will be very smart and sharp ???????????????? – Shatta wale(shatta movement)
