The fiery radio personality who led the Kumerican Boys to develop a frosty relationship with a section of the media and award organizers when they first burst into the mainstream, blasted 3Music Awards organizers and asked them to concentrate on making better plaques for their award scheme.

The beef was stoked after Ricky Tenneson who happens to be from the camp of 3Music Awards reminded DJ Slim how his wicked counsel has stalled the progress of Asakaa Boys while on the same wavelength Yaw Tog, Koi Jamar, Kwaku Flick, Gyakie and other New School artists are doing extremely well.

See what Ricky posted;

“Slim Deejay you really worry the Kumerica movement paa oo Imean the real “pioneers” of Asakaa; the Life Living Record acts (0’Kenneth, Jay Band, DMC, City Boy, Kawabanga, etc) I was just listening to their song “MA DRIP” (surprisingly released 7months ago; 1million views) and couldn’t help but get disappointed at their lack of career advancement

You recorded a video influencing these guys to decline every opportunity from “INDUSTRY” (Media, Music execs, Events, Avwards, Labels)” to grow/develop their brand and the Asakaa movement.

You literally instructed them to shut their doors at INDUSTRY all in the name of “Kumasi is the hub and Life Living should own their own career and call the shots” Just 5MONTHS on, since that ludicrous counsel, which led them to grow extremely ARROGANT, Industry has now aided YAW TOG, KOFI JAMAR, KWEKU FLICK, BLACK SHERIFF, DEAD PEEPOL, KWEKU DARLINGTON (Sika Aba Fie), GYAKIE and the list goes on.

These guys don’t deserve to STILL be “where they are now” chale. Watching Yaw Tog, Kofi Jamar, Kweku Flick shut down UK over the weekend makes us all proud- but the KUMERICA movement could have attained greater heights if the “originators” were not misled This KUMERICA tale reminds me a lot of what happened to WEST SIDE LEGACY (Western Region) some years ago.’

However, DJ Slim got highly offended and went on a tirade on Radio One by mocking Yaw Tog, Kofi Jamar, and other artists that were billed to perform at Ghana In In The Park concert in London saying they were not paid to prove his point that Asaaka Boys are still on the right path musically.
