The annual Forbes list of richest African stars has been released and we find it amusing that self-styled billionaire, Shatta Wale did not make it to the list on the premise that he always storms social media to flaunt his wealth and call others poor.

His newest rival, Sarkodie the man he labeled as poor ironically sits comfortably at number 6 on the list released this week.

According to Forbes, the list was made based on sales and signed contracts and in that regard Obidi has secured the 6th spot.

US based singer of Senegalese descent, Akon topped the list with a whopping $80M.

See the list below:
1. Akon – $80 Million
2. Black Coffee – $ 60 Million
3. Don Jazzy – $30 Million
4. Wizkid – $20 Million
5. Davido – $ 15 Million
6. Sarkodie – $7 Million
7. Tinsha Kachingwe – $ 6Million
8. Hugh Masekele – $ 1.5 Million
9. Jidenna – $ 1Million
10. Oliver Mtukudzi – $1 Million
