Senegalese-born footballer, Jean-Pierre Adams has endured what many people would consider very sudden and unfortunate given his story.
In his active footballing days, Jean-Pierre Adams plighed his trade with big French clubs like OGC Nice and Paris Saint-Germain. His career suffered a nosedive when he walked into the theatre in Lyon to undergo surgery on his injured knee.
A blunder ensued in the process of the surgery which has led the footballer to remain in a coma for nearly 40 years. The incident happened in 1982 when he was aged 34 at t he time.
He was born on March 10, 1948 and he turned 73 this month as he is still in coma and has not seen the light of the day.
For nearly four decades now, the Senegalese-born footballer has been bedridden. According to SPORTbible, Adams’ life was horribly turned upside down following a botched operation on his injured knee.
