The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has what it takes to solve Ghana’s problem according to the Former President John Dramani Mahama.
The NDC agenda, according to the 2020 flagbearer, has measures on infrastructure, the economy, and other key areas that, if enforced, will propel the entire country into a period of positive transition.
Mr Mahama has stated that the NDC’s manifesto contains solutions to the problems and challenges that Ghanaians are currently facing.`
On Tuesday, October 12, Mr Mahama told a gathering of Ghanaians in the Eastern Region that the NDC had a program to create one million jobs for all Ghanaians, which had the ability to change the country’s economic fortunes.
“The high unemployment rate, businesses are suffering, the economy is collapsing. All the answers to what Ghana is going through today are in NDC’s 2020 manifesto.
“The big push for infrastructure, 10 billion dollars into infrastructure to construct our roads, our hospitals, our schools, they are all in our 2020 manifesto,” Mr Mahama said.
Mr Mahama further stated that the NDC’s manifesto, which was provided to Ghanaians before to the 2020 elections, was superior to the NPP’s and contained everything necessary to transform Ghana.
“After the launch of our manifesto no one discussed the NPP’s manifesto, they all focused their attention on ours, the plan to create one million jobs was also in there.”
