The Four suspected persons who were arrested in relation with the killing of University of Ghana law professor, Emmanuel Yaw Benneh, have been charged with murder.
The four are Christian Pobee, James Nana Womba, Isaac Botchwey, and Adams Mensah Mansur.

These persons were employed as house helps and they were working as gardeners and cleaners at the late lecturers residence
The lawyers for the accused wanted their client to be bailed but the State prosecutors opposed the bail application saying investigations had just commenced and for that reason it will be premature to grant them the application.
The Court presided over by Eleanor Botwe denied the accused persons bail. The case was then adjourned to September 30.
