Reports from the German Police indicates a bitcoin fraudster has failed to give the password to the police after they arrested him and confiscated his bitcoin wallet worth $60 million.

The fraudster is said to have been sentenced to two years in jail for covertly installing software on other computers to harness their power to “mine,” or produce, bitcoin and he since remain silence on given out the password to the police.

According to the prosecutor of the case, the man who is currently serving his time has continuously maintained his silence on given the password whiles the police made repeated effort to crack the code to access more than 1,700 bitcoin in the wallet.

However, the prosecutor has revealed they have ensured the man cannot access the wallet either after he finished serving his term.
