Nollywood comic actress, movie producer, and director Funke Akindele Bello also known as Jenifa has been recognized on an international platform.

The talented actress has been named as one of the Top 100 icons amongst the world’s greatest icon and living legends. After the list was released, the international platform CNN used its medium to congratulate Funke and also described her as one of the biggest Hollywood stars. Funke Akindele was ranked the thirty-fifth on the Top 100 icons ranked.

Funke has taken to her Instagram page to share dailies with her photo on the front page being congratulated by CNN for her efforts in the movie industry. Funke Akindele is amongst the few veteran actresses who are still relevant in the movie industry.

Funke has her own movie production. She recently produced a movie that featured Chioma Chukwuka, Eniola Badmus, and many others. Her movie “Omo Ghetto” was one of the biggest projects done by Funke Akindele. The movie Omo Ghetto (The Saga) crossed N500 million mark at the box office. Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN) reported that the movie has broken Nollywood’s movie records.
