Ever seen the nuisance stray goats and cows cause on our main street in the capital? It’s really an eyesore to meet these mammals roaming freely on some principal streets of Accra whilst we pride ourselves as the gateway to Africa. For the reason, the Ga West Municipal Assembly in Amasaman decided to stamp their authority to make sure sanity is restored.
They subsequently arrested four stray goats that strayed into their own territory and put them up for auctioning! According to a notice circulating on social medial, the four goats were ‘arrested’ on the June 3 and brought to the Municipal Assembly.
The Municipal Environmental Officer, Christiana Marku Teye-Angmor has slated June 14 as the date of auctioning. See below;
