Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) is a royalties collection agency within Ghana, that represents the rights of music copyright holders. Many musicians here in Ghana have said they’ve not received any royalties due them, and dancehall act, Samini has been speaking.
According to Samini, he’s never received any royalties since he first came out with his hit song, Linda. Samini told Andy Dosty on Hitz FM that,
“I’ve never received any royalties from GHAMRO eversince i started music, and it’s a fact. Ghana hasn’t given me any royalties since I released Linda till date, and something needs to be done, it can’t be like this.”

Samini continued,
“We should act today about how GHAMRO operates. If we are complaining about not being satisfied with the way we are being treated, we should act today”
