Ghana’s Amputee soccer team has lifted the 2021 Cup of African Nations for Amputee Football (CANAF).

They smoothly beat their Liberian counterparts who were aiming to win their fourth Nations Cup title.

At the end of the match, Ghana had beaten Liberia 3-2 in the grand final on Saturday in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

It was the Liberians who broke the deadlock in the 14th minute before the match was forced into extra time by Ghana with an equalizer.

In extra time, Ghana took the lead for the first time before Liberian striker, Joe made it 2-2. Before the end of the whistle, Ghana ensured they were on their home with the trophy by scoring the winning goal.
