The American investor explicitly said “the NPP parliamentary candidate of Yendi’s secretary keeps demanding bribe from me.”

Mr. Claude D Convisser applied to government to set up a factory in Zugu, a community in the Yendi Municipality.

His company, Alafei Foods Limited is seeking to set up a soya and vegetable factory under the 1D1F to meet the protein and vitamin needs of the Ghana School Feeding Program in the Northern region.

It is estimated that, when the government give him the permission to set up the factory, he will employ a total number of 30,000 workers in the factory.

However, he said most companies are collapsing because, they have to pay millions of money to meet the bribery demands of the government officials, which renders investors losing all money and can’t operate their companies.
