Ghana Election 2020: Incumbent President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is set to sign a peace pact with Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama ahead of December 7 polls.

It is clear to the public that, the 2020 general elections is a race between the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

It is therefore important to keep both presidential candidates in check by legal binding to ensure peace remains in the country before, during, and after the elections.

A lot has been said about insecurity of the December 7 elections.

The Presidential Elections Peace Pact (PEPP) will be signed on December 3, 2020, under the theme: “Eradicating vigilantism: The role of political parties,”

The signatories will commit to non-violence, resort to the judicial process to seek redress in case of disputes and work towards eradicating vigilantism.

The Graphic Communications Group Limited and the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation are the media partners and witnesses PEPP.
