Campaign Manager of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Peter Mac Manu has said Ghanaians will never replace the Elephant Party of Akufo-Addo with the Umbrella Party of John Mahama.

Speaking in an interview on Joy Fm with Araba Koomson on Wednesday 21 October 2020, Mr. Mac Manu stated that, it is not easy for Ghanaians to mistake the symbols of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) with that of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), likewise exch ange the flagbearers of both political parties on December 7.

“We do not anticipate anybody going to vote for NPP going down to vote for NDC, the symbols are different. How can an umbrella replace an elephant?” He said.

Mr. Mac Manu also said NPP in putting measures to avoid such voter mistakes, although it is rare to commit a such, he said the NPP has sent out vounteers to educate voters on how to vote for the Elephant-NPP-Akufo-Addo space on the ballot paper with examplinary ballot.

“We believe strongly that the dummy ballot paper we are going to do and take across the length and breadth of the country will minimize rejected votes.” He added.

The NPP campaign manager said the party will see a massive increase in votes for, than what they got to win the 2016 elections, because President Akufo-Addo has delivered to the satisfaction of the people of Ghana.
