The Electoral Commission of Ghana (EC) is to starting printing ballot papers for election 2020, December 7 on October 26 this month.

The EC has written to the political parties who are participating in this years general elections to delegate one representative to keep an eye on the printing of the ballots at each of the seven printing houses, that the EC has selected to underkate the exercise.

Again, the EC has requested for detail information of each representative that the parities will select for the observation of the printing of the election ballot papers by Monday.

There are 12 political parties who have gone through the right process and ahve been certified by the EC to contest for positions int he upcoming elections at the December 7 polls.

However, 5 other presidential aspirants were disqualified and the EC has assured to refund their GHC100,000 filing fees back to them.
