Former Deputy Minister of Communications under the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC, Mr. Felix Kwakye Ofosu has been humbled after failing to defeat the incumbent, Mr. Elvis Morris Donkoh.

Ofosu Kwakye was eying the Abura-Asebu Kwamankese constituency but unfortunately failed as the Incumbent retained the seat for the New Patriotic Party NPP with 25,048 votes with a close margin of 24,872 for Ofosu Kwakye.

He took to social media to concede and announce his defeat indicating that it was so close yet he lost to the incumbent hence better luck for him next time.

“It was so close yet so far for me. I lost by 176 votes. Congratulations Elvis Morris Donkor and better luck to me next time. I am also deeply grateful to all of you out there who supported my bid in diverse ways.”
