Ghana Election 2020: Ghanaians Dancehall and Reggae artists Samini has confessed that, Free SHS has saved him from financial burden on paying school fees, and all thanks to president Akufo-Addo and the New Patriotic Party (NPP), government.
Samini said before the introduction of the NPP flagship Free SHS, he was paying huge sums of money for students across the country.
He said the got relieved from paying school fees after president Akufo-Addo implemented the free SHS policy in the Ghana Education system.

The musician disclosed when speaking at a virtual concert at NPP campaign rally stated that, his biological children are not beneficiaries of Free SHS because, they live abroad, however, he said the Free SHS has been a great financial relieve for many families int eh country whose children are going to school.
He said “Free SHS is not for NPP or NDC, it’s not for any other political party it’s for Ghana because every Ghanaian child is going to benefit, every Ghanaian student is going to benefit if school is for free, if SHS is for free and I hear it’s even extended to the Technical Institutions as well so it’s even broader.”
Samini added “I support a lot of children to go to school. The fact that I don’t pay school fees anymore for these children makes me feel the essence of Free SHS and the fact that at a point it was thought that it could never happen, I believe that now that it’s happening if we allow it to continue for the next four years regardless of how the system might be, I’m sure they will be able to find a way to make it permanent.”
He has therefore, asked Ghanaians to vote for President Akufo-Addo and NPP come December 7.
