The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Johnson Asiedu Nketia says the John Mahama led administration will sell second hand cars if they win the 2020 elections.
Speaking at the NDC’s Tawn Hall Meeting in kumasi this week,he wondered why the governing NPP will ban salvage cars while Germany the inventors of the VW cars still salvage cars.

“Is Germany not selling second hand cars? If German the originator of the VW car manufacturer still sells second hand or salvage cars and it is not banned, why then do you ban salvage cars because VW has come to establish a branch here” ,he said.
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has stated it plans to ban the importation of salvage cars which has not been received well by car dealers in the country.
