Presidential Candidate John Dramani Mahama for opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) has made a profound statement that he anticipate chaos on election day, December 7, 2020.

Speaking on Woezor TV in a campaign video interview he published on Facebook, the Flagbearer of the Umbrella Party said the Ghana Electoral Commission refusal to recognize the Inter Party Advisory Committee (IPAC), has succeeded in creating enmity between political parties ahead of the 2020 general elections.

In a further explanatory statement, Mr. Mahama said alleged that, EC has transferred competent personnel who worked under the Charlotte Osei administration, warning that whatever agenda the EC has will fall back on them if it backfires.

“I can anticipate some chaos on the election day. People will not find their names here and there. I have been an MP before and I know how these happen. I have also warned about the BVRs and how they will perform, we do not know.” He allegedly said according to report made by Ghanafeed.com.

However, the ruling government of President Akufo-Addo led New Patriotic Party (NPP) has vividly said, they on party’s interest decided to rescind the call for presidential debate between Nana Akufo-Addo and John Dramani Mahama, and has vindicated the EC out of the blame on IPAC meeting for this year’s elections.
