Ghana Election 2020: Chairperson of the Electoral Commission (EC) Jean Mensa has visited God in the church to pray for a peaceful elections on December 7, 2020.

Madam Jean Mensa says she believes God will help the country to be at peace at all steps of the election processes to the end, when she prays to God for his protection, love, and understanding to dwell in the mist of Ghanaians as the country walks to the polls to elect the next government.

In addition to the prayers for peace, the Chairperson also assured Ghanaians that, the 2020 elections will be the timely elections to announce results and declare the winner, 24 hours after the polls.

Madam Jean Mensa said “As the Chairperson of the Commission, I declare in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God that the 2020 Elections shall be peaceful, violent free, glorious, timely, orderly, wonderful, excellent victorious and successful so help us God.”

Whiles the EC prepares to organize peaceful, transparent, free and fair elections, political parties continue to campaign for votes on coming December 7.
