Deputy Minister Of Education, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum has hit out at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on their manifesto promise of extending Fee SHS to private school, according to the Minister the said promise is a scam.
Speaking on Accra base Kindom FM monitored by ghgossip.com,The Deputy Education Minister stated that if indeed the NDC have plans to build all E-blocks to eliminate double track as they said in their manifesto then what will be the need to extend Free SHS policy to private schools when you have unoccupied E-block buildings.

“First of all, they said when they assume power they will use one year to build all the E-blocks in order to eliminate the double-track system. So if you build all the E-blocks what then are you going to do at the private school?” he asked.
You’ve built all the classrooms that you need what else are you going to do at the private schools or is that a grand style to deceive them”,he added .
The National Democratic Congress NDC led by John Mahama has promised to extend the free ‘SHS’ policy to private schools in deprived areas of the country.
