President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that the New Patriotic Party(NPP) have been noted for coming up with innovative policies, ideas and interventions in the cocoa sector.
Addressing chiefs and cocoa farmers at a ceremony to launch the Cocoa Rehabilitation Programme, on Thursday, 24th September 2020, at Sefwi Wiawso as part of his three day tour of the Western North Region, he noted that his government has introduced programmes aimed at sustaining the industry.

“From the eight years in office of that outstanding Ghanaian statesman, the 2nd President of the 4th Republic, His Excellency John Agyekum Kufuor, to the three and half years of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, we have been noted for coming up with innovative policies and interventions in the sector”,he noted.
President Akufo-Addo believes his administration has given the cocoa industry the much boost it needed and as such the famers should replicate that by voting massively for him ahead of the December polls.
