The vice presidential candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress NDC, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang has expressed her dissatisfaction in the implementation of teacher licensure exams by the government.

According to Prof.Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang ,going through three to four years course and passing all your exams it should be enough to qualify any individual to teach in this country.

Speaking to the people of Cape Coast in her shortened visit ,Prof. Naana Jane said;

“After going through a 3 or 4 year course depending on the course of study and passing all your exams then you are presented with your certificate only to be told that there is another exam which if you don’t pass then you can’t teach in Ghana, then I think it’s unfair.”

Professor Naana Opoku Agyemang is an educationist and was the Vice-Chancellor of UCC.
