The Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu has questioned the the electoral commision in the ongoing verification exercise on missing names of some residents who registered to vote.
According to Mr. Iddrisu at Banvim Presby area in the constituency for instance ,769 voters registered, the names on the register for the exhibition is now 555.

“There are major discrepancies in the register and in what has been made available to registered voters,” he expressed his concern to the press.
The electoral commision has set eight days for electorates to validate their details in the voters register ahead of the December polls.
