President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has indicated that he  says he will not entertain any acts of lawlessness ahead of the December polls.  

Addressing the chiefs and people of Ahafo in the Ahafo Region on the final day if his tour of the Region, President Akufo-Addo said  that government with the able assistance of the security agencies will ensure a peaceful election.

“In this year’s election, I want everyone to understand that so long as I am President, anyone who wants to perpetrate acts of violence will have to deal with the laws of the land irrespective of political affiliation. No one will go scot-free this time around, particularly in Asutifi and Asuanfo South. We do not want acts of lawlessness in Ghana,” President Akufo-Addo said.

The President ended his two days working tour in the Ahafo Region yesterday and is expected to meet ECOWAS heads on Tuesday 15 September 2020 in Accra.
