Honorable Kofi Adams, former National Organizer of National Democratic Congress (NDC) says more than 15,00 nurses were employed by former President John Dramani Mahama when the NDC was in power.

He said this when he was speaking on GHOne Television on Friday 18 September, 2020 on the stations Morning Show monitored by Ghgossip.com.

The aspiring Member of Parliament of Buem Constituency in the Oti Region on the ticket of NDC, says former President Mahama did well in recruiting health workers 15,000 in total.

“We employed more than 15,000 health workers when we were in power.”

He also added that the NDC has a track record of creating jobs and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) can not beat the NDC on that.

He said “We have the track record of creating sustainable jobs.”

Quite different from his opinions, Honorable Emmanuel Kwasi Sabi of the NPP, also argued with him on the same show that, there was a high unemployment rate when the NDC was in office under Mr. Mahama. And it has taken the President Akufo-Addo led NPP to solve unemployment in Ghana.

However, speaking on NDC’s 2020 “People’s Manifesto“, on the “Big Push”, Mr. Kofi Adams bragged that NDC manifesto was an in-depth research of Ghanaians problems and solutions to them.

“We decided to go to the grassroots to listen them and got ideas for our manifesto” He said.

Again on job creation he said that Mahama government, when voted into power will create avenus for sustainable jobs for all.

“We will create openings for people to even do more than one job.” He affirmed.

He continued “We are going to implement the national apprenticeship program. NDC government will pay for the fees for training and give trainees allowances as well as giving them tools to set them up after graduation.”

He than asked Ghanaians to vote NPP out of power and bring back John Mahama and the NDC.
