Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemaang, Vice Presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said the Mahama-NDC government will do well to complete all abandoned Senior High School E-blocks which was started by former president Mahama, but have unfortunately been left to rot by Akufo-Addo government.

She said “We will complete all abandoned structures for secondary and technical education. This includes the score of E-blocks abandoned by this government for no justifiable reason.”

The running mate to flagbearer John Dramani Mahama says the NDC has better plans for the advancement of education of the country. And because of that, they will introduce better programmes in the education sector to help develop education to the world’s standard.

She said “We have every plan and desire to make the free SHS much better. We will do that by ensuring that its numerous challenges are addressed, and that high operational and academic standard are introduced and sustained.

In so doing, she first said they will relinquish the SHS tracking system and bring it back to the former.

“To do this, we will abolish the double-track system.”

She said the NDC believes in these measures, that it will allow them to cater for future students of Ghana.

“These measures will allow us to cater for future students.

However, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has a different understanding, that the NDC’s manifesto has nothing better to offer Ghanaians.
