The Ghana Police Service has responded to a claim by a lady that the police allegedly shot and killed her father in their home.

According to the lady, some police personnel invaded the home of his father on 29th June. 2021 and through the process, shot and killed him. She alleged that it was a deliberate attempt by the police since they know her father has a piece of evidence about some bad deeds of some of the personnel.
In her tweet, she stated the father allegedly has video evidence of some personnel of the police service allegedly killing four (4) guys.
The tweet by the account name @realnaajudith reads;
29th June, 2021 3pm trigger-happy hoodlums parading as Ghana police officers went to my dad’s house, shot & killed him because he had video evidence on his phone on the killing of 4 guys by the police 2months ago!!! I am dumbfounded! WtF is going on in Ghana
The Police Service responding to the allegations by the lady stated the photos the lady posted in accompany to her tweet is the seem photos the police took of a place they had an encounter with an alleged armed robber.
In a statement via the official Twitter page of the Ghana Police Service, they stated they had an encounter with an alleged armed robber in the exact house and was gunned down by the police after he allegedly shot one of the police personnel.
These pictures show a place similar to the place at Ntoaso in the Eastern region where police arrested armed robbers and retrieved several arms and ammunition including about 3000 AK 47 ammunition. This was in the News from the police briefing at the CID on 30th June 2021.
