Ghana missed out on early qualification to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations after falling to a shock 1-0 defeat to Sudan.
The North Africans stunned the Black Stars with a late winner scored by Abdel Rahman. The striker rose highest to head into the net from close range.
Black Stars missed the services of captain Andre Ayew, who missed the game due to injury. Ayew was the hero when Black Stars beat Sudan 2-0 in the first fixture last week in Cape Coast.
Sudan took full advantage of his absence to exact revenge on Tuesday and boost their qualification chances.
The result means Black Stars must avoid defeat in remaining games against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe next year to qualify.
