Gisele Bündchen parents-Brazilian fashion model, Gisele Bündchen was born on July 20th, 1980 in Horizontina, Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.

Bündchen learned German in school and her parents also speak the language, but she no longer uses it. Portuguese, English, Italian, Spanish, and a little bit of French are among Bündchen’s other major languages.

Although Bündchen wanted to play volleyball, her mother put her, along with her sisters Patrcia and Gabriela, in a modeling training in 1993 to instill in them self-assurance and proper posture. 

She was found by Elite Model Management at a mall after the course when the ladies were given a trip to Curitiba, So Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro as a reward.

At the time known as Look of the Year, the Elite Model Look nationwide competition saw Bündchen finish in second place. Bündchen relocated to So Paulo in 1995 to begin her modeling career. She made her debut in 1996 during New York Fashion Week.

Before being chosen to appear in an Alexander McQueen runway show in 1998, Bündchen was denied 42 times in London in 1997. [28] For advertisements in 1998, Bündchen appeared in front of the camera for Missoni, Chloé, Dolce & Gabbana, Valentino, Gianfranco Ferré, Ralph Lauren, and Versace. She served as the show opener for Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, and Valentino during spring 2000 fashion week in New York, Milan, and Paris.

Together with Daria Werbowy, Natalia Vodianova, Isabeli Fontana, Karolina Kurkova, Liya Kebede, Hana Soukupova, Gemma Ward, and Karen Elson, she appeared on a group U.S. Vogue cover in 2004. More than any other model or celebrity, Bündchen featured two covers of the Vogue Shape issue by 2010. On the 2011 FHM Australia list of the 100 sexiest women in the world, she came in at number 45. Bündchen was ranked No. 25 among the 100 sexiest women of all time by Men’s Health in 2011.

Bündchen appeared in three spring 2012 advertising campaigns for Versace, Givenchy, and Salvatore Ferragamo. In 2012, she was chosen to represent Banco do Brasil’s first international advertising campaign.

Ipanema sandals by Gisele Bündchen, which sold roughly 25 million pairs annually in 2013, were responsible for more than half of Grendene’s about $250 million in annual exports.

Bündchen secured a contract with Under Armour in 2014 that apparently compares favorably to the endorsement payouts received by professional athletes and outpaces her prior deal with Victoria’s Secret.

Gisele published her book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life in 2018, and it became a New York Times bestseller and Brazil’s best-selling non-fiction book for more than six months.

The news that Bündchen was leaving IMG Models after 22 years and that her twin sister Patricia will take over as manager surfaced in February 2021.

They had six girls including Gisele. The names of their other daughters are; Patricia Nonnenmacher Bündchen, Rafaela Nonnenmacher Bündchen, Raquel Nonnenmacher Bündchen, Graziela Nonnenmacher Bündchen, and Gabriela Nonnenmacher Bündchen.
