Lanre Gentry, the estranged husband of popular Nigerian actress Mercy Aigbe has broken silence over their relationship status.
Speaking to Saturday Beat, Lanre Gentry stated that he has maintained a good relationship with Mercy Aigbe, the mother of his children.
He revealed that he is still in touch with the movie star and he carries out his responsibilities as the father of their two children in paying their school fees and their welfare.
According to the socialite, although they are separated, Mercy Aigbe is still a part of me.
Setting the records straight on the future of their relationship, Lanre Gentry said that their relationship is in the hands of God.

In his words “Me and Mercy are not fighting. If I want to see her, I would call her and if she needs anything, she also calls me. We have a good rapport. God has the final say over our relationship and He knows how it would turn out in the future. I take care of my children.
I can’t speak for other fathers but I carry out my responsibilities as a man. I still see Mercy as a part of me. It’s only a mentally unstable man that would leave a woman with children to go and fend for herself.
