After sending him more than the transportation cost she was meant to pay, a Nigerian lady praised a bolt driver for his truthfulness.
The transit charge, according to @Adammayie on Twitter, was N700, but she accidentally transferred N7,000 to the driver, whom she named as Kehinde.
She contacted him after realizing her mistake and pleaded with him to provide her the remaining $6,000. To her amazement, he sent her the exact balance she was supposed to receive after subtracting his N700.
She published the story on social media after being impressed by his remarkable exhibit of sincerity.
As she puts it;
”I order a ride (bolt) and the driver MR KEHINDE AMBROSE OBASANYA, 08103747998 it was a good ride to my destination. Ride was 700 naira and I mistakenly sent 7000 naira to him.
I called him to please if possible send 6000 naira back to me. he promised to send back the money in the next one hour.. kinda didn’t believe him after the end of the call, but I kept my fingers crossed.
Lo and behold he did send back 6300 naira back to me. I thanked him very well cos its not easy to meet good people. so my tweet hearts, you can call him for your personal rides.”
