Ghana’s president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his just ended address revealed that the government is doing everything within its power to help all households and SMEs in the country.

This comes after the president announced some areas that will be partially lockdown in order to curb the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus.

He stated that the government has set aside GHC 1 billion which will be used to help all affect households and SMEs during this period.

Additionally, Nana Addo also stated that a COVID-19 fund chaired by former Chief Justice, Madam Sophia Akuffo has been established.

The aim of the fund is to solicit for funds from individuals and entities to help the government in making the life of all affected families and individual better during this period.
