Canadian Pop singer The Weeknd has ‘fired’ the Grammy Recording Academy Board after he was snubbed at the 63rd Grammy Awards nominations.

The Grammy Recording Academy Board yesterday announced the full nomination list for the 2021 Annual Grammy Awards.

As expected every year after the nomination list is announced, artists and fans expressed their disappointments in who got nominated and didn’t get nominated.

This year’s nomination list in less than 24 hours after the announcement has received a whole lots of criticisms from fans after Pop artist The Weeknd was snubbed in the nomination list.

The Weeknd took to his Instagram page to accused the board of corruption and requested transparency in their dealings.

According to reports, the artist was given an ultimatum about having whether to perform at the Grammy Awards or to perform at the SuperBowl halftime but the singer and his team agreed with the Academy Board he will perform at both events. But sources reveals the singer’s decision to perform at the SuperBowl cost his Grammys nominations.

The Weeknd, Harry Styles are all acts that got an amazing year but so snubbed at the Grammys nominations.
