On Sunday, 29th November suspected gunmen attacked travelers at Kwanar Tsintsiya axis of Kaduna-Zaria Road in Igabi LGA of Kaduna.
However, the brother of Hon. Muhammad Abubakar Mamadi, former Member Federal House of Representatives Igabi Federal Constituency, Alhaji Kabir Muhammad happened to be one of the victims. At the time of reporting, he has been admitted at 44 Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna.
Samuel Aruwan, the State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs of Kaduna State affirmed the incident saying the attack was suppressed by the 4 Battalion Nigerian Army. One of the armed bandits lost his life while the rest fled with bullet wounds.
