Veteran Ghanaian music producer, Da Hammer has narrated his working experience with the late Kaakyire Agyekum before his untimely death in 2019.

Recall, De Hammer dropped the visuals of Agyekum’s touching song ‘Ohohuo Asem’ which featured the award-winning rapper, Sarkodie.

Speaking in a recent interview on the Joy Entertainment show, De Hammer revealed that the late Kaakyire Agyekum didn’t get to see the final works of his song with Sarkodie before he died. He said that Agyekum’s untimely demise made it impossible for him to see the music video he released.

De Hammer also revealed that Kaakyire Agyekum wrote his versi on of the song based on his personal life experience during his hustling days.

“Kaakyire Agyekum died in November 2019 exactly two months after this video was shot. The song was originally released on The Last Two EP Reprisal in 2011 but was later shelved until 2019 when the video was shot”, he said.

“His longtime wish to see this video done was finally fulfilled before his demise,” he added.

However. De Hammer revealed that the proceeds made from the video will be donated to the nuclear family of the late singer which consists of his wife and his three children.
