The Headies announced the nomination for the 14th edition of the award ceremony today.

The Headies is an award ceremony which celebrates Hip Hop artists in Nigeria for their hard work and dedication in the music industry.
One category of the Headies that celebrates artists outside Nigeria is the Best African Artiste Recognition category and this year saw a couple of names been nominated from Ghana for the award.
One of the artists who was nominated for the award this year is Ghana’s Dancehall sensational Shatta Wale.
Shatta in a simple tweet acknowledged the nomination from the Headies by retweeting the announcement of the category.
