Reports indicate premiership side Accra Hearts of Oak has allegedly dropped Kuami Eugene from performing at the Super Clash this coming Sunday.
The Vodafone Ghana Music Artist of the Year was scheduled to perform at the halftime of the match between Accra Hearts Of Oak and their ace rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
But the reports indicate the management of Accra Hearts of Oak has informed the ‘Angela’ hit maker that they won’t allow him to perform at the stadium during the match because he’s a well known Asante Kotoko fan.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the club Kwame Opare Addo, Kuami Eugene has declared his support for their ace rivals on so many platforms hence not fit to perform at the home grounds to Hearts of Oak.
He added that Kuami Eugene even performed for Asante Kotoko when the beat Hearts of Oak in their last clash at the previous seasons solidifying that indeed he’s a big Asante Kotoko fan.
The Highlife musician through his endorsement deal with Dr. Kwaku Oteng’s Adonko Next Level Energy was to perform but seems it will come to a halt because of his affliction with Asante Kotoko.
His management and team is yet to comment or issue out a statement regarding the news but the management of Hearts of Oak insist they won’t allow him to perform on their home grounds no matter what happens.
The 2020/21 Ghana Premier League is in its climax stage with a lot of tension between the two biggest clubs in Ghana as to who wins the premier league title this season.
Asante Kotoko is on top of the league log right now with Hearts of Oak at second place with a game in hand which will be played this evening against city rivals Legon Cities at the Accra Sports Stadium.
