In a sad report, the assistant director at Nigeria’s seat of government, Aso Rock, Laetitia Naankang Dagan has reportedly been assassinated.
This was announced by the permanent secretary of State House, Abuja, Jalal Arabi, on February 18.
Per the statement released, Dagan was killed by unknown gunmen in her apartment around 11 pm on Monday, February 17.
Arabi in the statement assured the public that the police will surely trace, arrest and prosecute the culprits behind this mindless act in no time.
“The Police will fish out the killers of Laetitia and the law will take its course,” she said in the statement.
Additionally, she stated that;
“We all share in your grief and pains, but be consoled by the fact that she lived a good life and contributed her best to the services of her nation.”
