Desmond Elliot has been trending on social media platforms with people blaming for one thing or the other. Desmond Elliot used to be one of the talented Nollywood actors until he quit acting and entered into politics. For the past few days, Desmond Elliot has been trending all over with the popular phrase, “I blame Desmond Elliot”.

Desmond Elliot is currently the honorable in charge of Surulere Constituency in Lagos State House of Assembly and was spotted on one occasion commission a bridge for his constituents. By the side of the bridge, he mounted a board indicating that he was the one who built the bridge for the community.
Social media users have mocked him for building a bridge of such low standard and also bragging about his achievement. Many questioned how much in investing in the supposed bridge he constructed.
On the signpost mounted by the bridge constructed by Desmond Elliot, the inscription reads, “The Shitta-Oke Odo Linkbridge was re-constructed by Hon. Desmond Elliot”. The Instagram blogger shared photos of Desmond Elliot and captioned its post, “AND THIS IS WHY #desmondelliot HAS BEEN TRENDING”.
