According to Ms Lydia Forson, the president who was one of the main actors of the biggest protest against any government in the country is now preventing people from demonstrating against him now that he is president.

This comes after the conveners and protestors of the trending #FixTheCountry protest were prevented from demonstrating on the streets of Accra over the weekend by the police service and the Accra High Court.

The president, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has over the past week has been accused of the one who is behind the police and the court to prevent the protestors from protesting against him since he has been mute ever since the #FixTheCountry protest started on social media.

Lydia Forson stated that the same actors who led the biggest protest against a government who had allegedly increased taxes at that time are now telling the people who are demanding for the same request to fix themselves first.

She added the ‘irony’ that ‘History always remembers- always’ telling the president that what he did some couple of years back are now bouncing back to him, but seems he wants to avoid the ‘blame’.

Years down the line and some of the people who led this are telling citizens to fix themselves in response to citizens demanding better living conditions. History always remembers- always.
