The annual Golden Movie Awards, a scheme aimed at rewarding excellence in movies produced in Africa, went down live last night at Movenpick Hotel in Accra.
For reasons best known to the organizers, Moesha Bodoung was chosen to host the red carpet and she did an awful job, well you can’t blame her because that was her first time.
Now back to the theme of this report; Nigerian comedian AY who hosted the main show together with Joselyn Dumas put Moesha on the chopping board as regard his jokes to spice up the night.

According to the affable comedian, he’s heard that in Ghana, all the women love to sleep with married men and that he would love to settle here as a married man and have fun with some of the women like Nadia Buari, Yvonne Nelson, Joselyn Dumas and Nikki Samonas.
AY also turned his attention to Mr. Nyantakyi, the GFA and passed few funny comments about his situation which elicited laughter from the audience.
It was merely a joke but we gathered that Moesha was enthused at all so opana went over to apologize to her.
